Registers an external blockchain wallet address from which a cardholder may deposit digital assets to their cards, and binds the wallet to the specified cardholder. This generates a one-time challenge requiring the wallet owner to authorize it with the private key.
It is advisable for cardholders to also post a trace notification with blockchain listeners whenever they make a deposit to a card via a blockchain.
Together, these methods ensure the most reliable and timely processing of cardholder deposits to their cards, and they reduce the potential for delays or errors. They also provide for the identification of the card to which funds should be allocated, which may be relevant in the case of a cardholder with more than one card.
Blockchain transactions that can be verified programatically should appear immediately in the card's ledgerBalance but they are subject to the usual processing times, and funds won't reflect in the availableBalance until the clearing process has completed.
