Optionally initiates a trace in anticipation of an inbound transaction for the straight-through processing (STP) of a bank or wire transfer to the cardId specified in this endpoint, converted automatically to the base currency of the card.
This endpoint isn't strictly required if the remitting bank account has already been registered and allocated to the cardholder in question, or if the cardId is included in the reference field of the transfer, in which case, funds should credit automatically upon receipt.
Calling this endpoint may expedite the process and adds a failsafe, and it specifies the card to which funds should be allocated, which is relevant in the case of a cardholder with more than one card.
The request asserts that the transaction has already been initiated by bank or wire transfer, and (if it can be verified electronically) the deposit amount appears immediately in the card's ledgerBalance.
The end-to-end process is automated but it is subject to the usual domestic or international bank processing times (typically up to five banking days), and funds won't reflect in the availableBalance until the clearing process has completed.

Notice:The bank account to which deposits should be made as part of this process flow will be available in account management.
Notice:Deposits to a card should be made from a pre-registered bank account that is in the same name as the cardholder. The card ID should also be included in the reference field of any bank or wire transfer to ensure funds are correctly and timely allocated. This endpoint traces a specific bank or wire transfer.
Warning!Any bank or wire transfer made from a bank account that hasn't been registered and bound to the relevant cardholder, and which is also missing a reference described in the above notice, may cause service disruptions and it may be returned or held in a suspense account. This endpoint can attempt to trace an inbound bank or wire transfer.
Information:This endpoint, and the endpoint to register an external bank account, will be deprecated and substituted with automated bank account (or sub-account) generation for each cardholder.
